The Grandstand at Home Park will be opened for its first professional men’s game on Saturday 14th December when Plymouth Argyle host Morecambe. The Grandstand will be filled up to 50% capacity – 2,700 supporters – as part of six test stages before it is officially opened.

The first will take place on November 27th for a behind-closed-doors match, with no supporters present. There will be a second test event the following Wednesday in another behind-closed-doors match, again with no supporters present.

Prior to the fourth test against Morecambe, the first official match will be December 8th, as Plymouth Argyle Ladies host Watford in the National League Southern Premier Division.

After the Morecambe match, there will be two final test events. The Grandstand will be at 75% when Plymouth Argyle host Stevenage, and then 100% on the first match of the new decade against Swindon. In that final test match, all 5,403 seats in the Grandstand will be available, bringing Home Park’s total capacity to 18,200.
