Plymouth Argyle have confirmed that new signing Zak Rudden has been given international clearance and will be available to face Walsall tomorrow afternoon.

Earlier today, Plymouth Argyle confirmed the signing of 19-year-old Rangers striker Rudden. The deal in its current form is set to run for six months. Tonight, the club have confirmed on social media that the required international clearance has been given. As it occurred in time, this means Rudden will be available for tomorrow’s game.

This could prove to be good news for Argyle – Rudden appears to be the sort of player who gets himself into goalscoring positions when his team are attacking. He’s the total opposite of Ryan Taylor in that regard, a player who has struggled to adapt to Argyle’s new system across the summer.

With Byron Moore and Joel Grant both injured in recent weeks, Argyle have been looking for the perfect partner for Dom Telford up front. Rudden could be that man tomorrow afternoon, though whether he starts straight away remains to be seen.

Argyle have also confirmed that Rudden will wear the number 39 shirt during his time at Home Park.
