Plymouth Argyle manager Ryan Lowe has confirmed that Dominic Telford and Conor Grant have returned to full training after injury. Telford has not played since injuring himself against Cheltenham in September, while Conor Grant left the field injured against Swindon. Meanwhile, Jose Baxter remains the only injured member of the squad.

Lowe told reporters: “We played a 60 minute, 11v11 game on the pitch on Tuesday. We just wanted to get some volume in their legs and look at patterns of play. We had our team set for Grimsby, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the side for Bolton.”

“Dom [Telford] has trained all week, he’s looking sharp, scored two goals in the 11v11. Conor [Grant] is just back in training now. The only player unavailable is Jose Baxter.”

“We have almost a fully fit squad, and the lads want to be playing games. We’re looking forward to them coming thick and fast in the lead up to Christmas.”

Argyle face Bolton Wanderers in the FA Cup this weekend. Despite worries that the magic of the cup is dying, Lowe was optimistic as ever: “As a player, I just wanted to be on Match of the Day! I loved the FA Cup. It’s special, the best cup competition in the world, for me.”

“It’s a big weekend for most of the lads, it has the opportunity to generate some special memories. It would be nice to get a cup run. I left Crewe just before they got Liverpool at Anfield, and I was gutted. The league is our bread and butter, but a run would be great for the club.”

“Bolton are in good form. If they can pull a bit of a run together, they have a good chance of getting out of the mire. We are going there to win, but we have a team standing in our way. We are probably slight underdogs, but we will give it a good go.”
