Thursday is decision day

Earlier on this morning we had another update from reliable journalist Alan Nixon. He stated on Twitter that a decision to whether Bury manager Ryan Lowe will be coming to Home Park would be concluded by Thursday. He made it appear that Thursday was the set deadline for the Liverpudlian to make his decision.

It has been thought that the main stumbling block for Lowe was Hallett’s requirement of having to relocate to the south-west of the country permanently. As a man born and bred in the north-west, this would clearly be a big decision for the recently promoted Lowe. He woild have to up-root and may have to leave his loved ones behind as he goes in search of financial security and a new opportunity at the Theatre of Greens.

Many fans of been discussing on social media platforms that they believe Lowe is sceptical about the move and were led to think that this deal would not cross the line. But this afternoon, the Green Army were given another indication of a green light via a further article from Nixon.

His piece stated that Ryan Lowe is “ready to quit crisis club Bury and take over at relegated Plymouth”. Despite the vague nature of the article we can infer that there is a sense of reliability within as it is very rare that national newspapers such as The Sun publish articles regarding lower league football. The articles they do post regarding the lower tiers tend to be very rarely incorrect.

There appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel regarding the race to Home Park. With an announcement of some sort expected tomorrow we will know very shortly who will be at the wheel for the beginning of the 2019/20 campaign.
