Plymouth Argyle manager Ryan Lowe gave no fresh updates to the fitness of his squad ahead of this Saturday’s game against Cambridge United at Home Park.

Lowe has previously stated that he hopes that striker Ryan Taylor will be available for this weekend’s match after suffering a knock in the second half of the loss at Colchester United earlier this month.

Fellow striker Dom Telford also continued his comeback from injury by replacing George Cooper for the final ten minutes of the 1-1 draw against Macclesfield Town at Moss Rose on Tuesday.

Defensive midfielder Josh Grant was substituted just after the half hour mark on Tuesday being replaced by Tyreeq Bakinson, when he looked to be moving gingerly after a collision.

However, news on the fitness of Grant ahead of Saturday has not been disclosed.

In his press conference Lowe added “The boys are champing at the bit to go again. The lads have recovered well, they’ll do a little bit today but not too much and get ready for Saturday.”

“We know we can’t put too much into the legs at this stage of the season, the lads know the drill. It’s tactical work at this stage of the season. The lads are fit, they have been all season.”
