While Plymouth Argyle have had an impressive start to their League 2 campaign, loan duo Ryan Law and Luke Jephcott have been impressive in Truro City’s back-to-back victories, as the team led by Pilgrim Paul Wotton sit top of the Southern Premier League.
The season is only two games old, but both players have started each of the past two games and stood out. Law has caught the eye of many White Tiger fans, with the youngster grabbing a goal on his debut after an excellent attacking run. The second-year pro has also received plaudits for his crossing and defending.
Ryan Law: 9/10 ?
CS: "An impressive opening goal on his league debut for the club. A very positive, attacking display this afternoon, as he caused huge problems on the flanks with his movement & trickery. He also showed his defensive capabilities when called upon."

The left-back signed an initial 28 day loan which expires today. With the departure of Ashley Smith-Brown on loan to Oldham, Ryan Lowe made opt to keep him in the team as back-up for Callum McFadzean.
Luke Jephcott is the other Pilgrim who has traded life in Devon for a temporary stay in the Cornish capital. The Welsh under-19 international has impressed with his attacking runs, causing problems for opposition defences. Two starts and a goal is a promising start, but given the lowly level he will need to continue scoring at a consistent rate to make his loan worthwhile.
Luke Jephcott: 8/10
CS: "He ran his socks off yesterday evening & pressed their back line well, forcing errors. He linked up well with those around him to create opportunities & displayed good strength when on the ball. He also doubled our lead with a well taken goal."
