Argyle Life Nominated For National Football Media Award – Again!

Much like last year; Argyle Life is delighted to have been shortlisted for the 2025 Football Content Awards. However, this year we find ourselves stepping up and competing in the Best Club Content Creator – Football League category.

Created in 2012 to highlight the best of online football media nationwide, the awards have been dubbed the “Oscars of the Football Content Industry.”

Our Green & White Podcast will face off for the award against the likes of Sunderland AFC’s long-standing independent fanzine A Love Supreme, Tranmere Rovers’ podcast A Trip To The Moon, Sheffield United’s Blades Ramble, Swansea City’s OnlySwans, Birmingham City’s longest-running podcast The Tilton Talk Show and Sheffield Wednesday’s The Wednesday ‘Til I Die Podcast among others. The awards will be presented on November 20th at Leeds United’s Elland Road Stadium.

Since relaunching the podcast three years ago, we’ve now exceeded 190,000 downloads on all podcast platforms and cemented a viewership on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter/X that still continues to surpass our wildest expectations. In addition to our pre-game previews and post-match reaction shows, we’ve hosted emergency reaction livestreams when big Argyle news breaks, multi-hour transfer deadline day shows, fan phone-ins, and the occasional stats pod. Our long-form interview podcast, My Argyle Life, has welcomed a range of guests, from ex-players, managers and fans like David Friio, Danny Mayor and Peter Reid among others.

Alongside this we deep-dive into the stats of each new signing, write in-depth previews ahead of every first team fixture, provide opinion in our player ratings pieces and speak to opposition fans about their clubs as well as returning the favour and featuring on a multitude of varying fan-sites, forums, podcasts, radio shows and even the odd TV appearance. Our partnership with the Plymouth Chronicle also sees our articles regularly delivered to 92,000 homes in four large areas of Plymouth.

Finalists were selected from over 29,000 nominations, which were grouped into more than 2,000 entries across 32 categories. Over 30+ judges reviewed the entries to determine the finalists, making up 50% of the vote. Now, it’s up to you, the fans, to make the final decision!

If you’ve enjoyed any of our output we’d love it if you could vote for us: You can vote for us by clicking here.

Voting will end at 23:59 on Sunday October 12th 2025, UK time.

Being announced as a finalist is a huge endorsement of the hours we’ve spent discussing our love of Plymouth Argyle—and of our listeners and viewers, without whom none of this would be possible. As always, every view, like, subscription – and now vote – is hugely appreciated.
