– Our Story –
The site was founded in June 2015. During a period of transition at Plymouth Argyle, with ex-manager John Sheridan departing and Derek Adams taking over, we immediately demonstrated that we would go against the curve.
We put forward creative ideas, breaking new ground by delivering innovative content: the Ultimate Season Preview; Green & White, the original Plymouth Argyle podcast; and the quality analysis that forms the core of our site.
Maintained by a set of dedicated fans, we strive to push boundaries and raise expectations about what the site could be. But we struggled to keep things going. Periods of worry, stress and unavailability forced us to abandon Argyle Life on more than one occasion. However, each time we redesigned, restructured and relaunched, bigger and better than before.
To be the alternative Plymouth Argyle Voice: that is the target Argyle Life aims for. Whether you agree or disagree with what we write, we hope you’ll support the fact that we aren’t afraid to put our ideas forward or challenge yours.
