Unbeaten in the last two – since the second coming of the Dewsnip / Nance managerial partnership – Argyle face Leicester City in the fourth-from-final game of the season on Friday night. The Foxes make the 500 mile round trip looking to further their chances of securing an automatic promotion spot, sealing their return to the top flight at the first time of asking.

The midlands side are sitting top of the table with a game in hand on second-place Ipswich and will be expecting a win against a relegation-battling Argyle to move 3 points clear of their promotion rivals.

And so this week, to try and find out a bit more about the promotion-hunting Leicester City, I chatted with Leicester Fan FosseHub about promotion, relegation, and how the bookies might not want to write us off just yet.

You’re sitting top of the table, where most of us expected you to be. But has it been tighter than you expected? And how would you sum up your season so far?

We started our season very well. Most of us thought we were breaking points record but sadly we had to hit the bad momentum. I still have to say it’s a great season though.

You’ve picked up 7 points of a possible 15 in your last 5 games. Ipswich have picked up 10 and Leeds 8. How confident are you of picking up your form for the final 5 games and securing that automatic spot?

Most of us Leicester fans aren’t confident at all saying, Plymouth will be harder than the Southampton game – but I believe the manager will sort it out and we’ll start picking up points.

If you do go straight back up to the Premier League this season, do you think you have what it takes to stay there?

That depends , we have lots of financial fair play problems. We really need to improve our squad and if we get right players I believe we’ll stay up – but firstly we need to secure promotion!

How’s Enzo Maresca doing as boss?

He’s doing great , I think he’s the best we could’ve gotten on the market – Some fans hate his playing style but I’d say that’s the minority.

Season highlight?

Stoke away, when we won 5-0.

Low point?

Bristol City, Away.

(The foxes lost 1-0 thanks to a fine goal from Anis Mehmeti.)

Where do you think you can cause us some problems on Friday?

We’ll be patient with the ball and try to create chances but the biggest threat will be Mavididi , Dewsbury-Hall or Fatawu.

What about weak areas? Where should we be looking to exploit to try and get the win?

We mostly concede from set pieces or long shots.

What’s your view on an away day at Plymouth Argyle right now? Must win? Could win? Should win?

It’s the end of the season and we must win obviously so we secure the promotion.

We both have a lot to play for. We’re fighting to stay in the league. Do you think we could be a potential banana skin for you?

Deinitely and I think every fan is aware of that. You can look at my tweets – Most Leicester fans are more scared of Plymouth than Southampton or West Brom. We tend to play badly vs teams lower in the table.

Score prediction?

1-2 win for Foxes but wouldn’t be surprised if we lose like we lost to Millwall!
