Plymouth Argyle have been drawn away to Bolton Wanderers in the first round of the FA Cup. The tie will take place on the weekend of the 9th November.
It will be the first time Argyle will have played Bolton since January 1993, a game which ended in a 3-1 defeat. It will also be the first time the Greens have played in the Macron stadium.
Bolton are currently 23rd in League One with minus-five points, the bottom of the table following Bury’s expulsion. They picked up their first win of the season against Bristol Rovers on Tuesday.
Bolton started the season in dreadful form, losing five of their first six matches and conceding five goals four games in a row, things have started to improve. The Whites have lost just two of their past seven matches, and have conceded just six goals in their past seven – keeping three clean sheets – having previously shipped 29 in eight.
